jovian
A multifaceted individual, Jovian strives to represent his love for music through his unique creations. Programming beats as well as playing bass, keys and guitar. His main workstation is a Korg Triton which he adopted after his crazy roommate threw it out the window.
Jovian grew up in the Bay Area and has been playing instruments since highschool. He and DJ Enso met in those early years and they have been friends since. He attended Cal along with DJ Enso and soon met Yao. So naturally when Solos was founded he was down for the movement.
Soon after he met rappers 10z and Kensho Kuma and together they formed Hunters and Gatherers. With college behind him Jovian decided to move to China along with 10z and Kensho Kuma for bigger and better things. He is there to this day, throwing shows with 10z and basically running the Southern China hiphop scene.
Currently Jovian is composing a piece for a Thai film score, and collaborating with some DJs in Canton, rappers in Shanghai (Bamboo Crew) and MCs in Japan.
