Bookworms

Bookworms is from the west, he grew up in Southern California and later moved up to the Bay Area. He started making music in highschool, at first he was in a punkrock band and then he started to make drum and bass tracks, now he utilizes his past experiences to make songs that know no boundaries. His appreciation for music and culture have led Bookworms down an interesting path.; live shows that nearly break his equipment, late nights at the strip club with Cat Power, and an undying desire to truly rock out. However, Bookworms spends most of his time in the studio and is generally a very lowkey guy. Perhaps it is this juxtaposition that makes his music great.

In 2004 Bookworms introduced himself to Roche and DJ Enso at a Solos warehouse party, he presented them with a demo that later was put out as "The Hidden Staircase EP". Since the release of his first project Bookworms has made a name for himself remixing (for Mi Ami, Finest Dearest and others) and playing shows in his own unique fashion.
Currently Bookworms is working on a varity of new projects; remixes for Brookhaven, a new live show, a collaboration with CB Radio and possibly a new album.
